Power Surge: The Power of Failure

At Pathway WBC, we’re lucky to work with hundreds of entrepreneurs each year. As a non-profit powered by the U.S. Small Business Administration, we’re dedicated to helping our clients achieve their dreams of business ownership through training and mentoring no matter their stage of business or industry.  Whether it’s helping a new entrepreneur turn an idea into an operating business or a seasoned business owner operate more sustainably we’ve been part of the process. While we’ve seen a lot of success, we’re no strangers to failure.

Failure is not final and it is not fatal.

In fact, the SBA states that 30% of new businesses fail during the first two years of being open, 50% during the first five years and 66% during the first 10. Entrepreneurship takes a high level of risk and failure is sometimes a reality. And guess what? It’s nothing to fear!

As an entrepreneur, it’s important to recognize and understand that failure is a part of business. Many successful business owners have failed in a business venture at some point in their entrepreneurial career.

We are choosing to embrace and celebrate failure at our last Power Surge event of the year.

Join us for a conversation with real business owners and experts who have turned failure into success.  You will not want to miss this honest and compelling conversation about how failure drives us to be better business owners and people.
