Pathway WBC offers free four-part social media class for small business owners and entrepreneurs

One of the biggest requests we get from clients is help with small business marketing and for social media classes for entrepreneurs. Jacqueline Hayes, Principal and Chief Marketing Strategist of Crayons & Marketers, will be facilitating a four-part series: Social Media School for Business.

Classes will be Tuesday evenings all August long, and we recommend you attend all four sessions! Below are descriptions for the four parts, and a link to register for each. Please note the hands-on lab is a longer class and starts early, and that you will need to register for each class separately.

Social Media School: PART 1

PART 1: OVERVIEW
Tues. Aug. 1 | 6pm-8pm | Pathway WBC

During this session, participants will be taught how to look at social media through a business lens and determine the benefits of using this tool to market their businesses. Participants will be given a workbook to jot down ideas and best practices that will aid in developing their social media strategy. Part 1 is SOLD OUT. Social Media School Part 2PART 2: THE PLATFORMS + WHAT TO USE
Tues. Aug. 8 | 6pm-8pm | Pathway WBC

During this session, participants will learn about the pros and cons of the top 10-15 social media platforms commonly used for business social media marketing, as well as define key audiences found and types of content published on each platform. Participates will also be advised on how to manage multiple social media profiles to improve productivity. Social Media School Part 3PART 3: THE PLAN & THE IMPACTS
Tues. Aug. 15 | 6pm-8pm | Pathway WBC

During this session, participants will utilize the notes in their workbooks to develop a one-page social media plan for their business and define key metrics to track that will help determine the success of their social media marketing campaigns. Register for Part 3 on August 15th > >

 

 

Social Media School Part 4: Hands-on labPART 4: HANDS-ON SOCIAL MEDIA LAB
Tues. Aug. 22 | 4pm-8pm | Pathway WBC

Concluding the Social Media School for business series, participants will combine both classroom discussion and out of classroom practice to set up at least one social media account for their business or make adjustments to a social media profile they already maintain. Participants are asked to bring branded assets, such as company logo and headshots, to the session to be used during set up. Please note the final class in this series begins at 4:00pm! Register for Part 4 [LAB] on August 22nd > >
