Pathway WBC announces two new community partners

We’ve partnered with Corner to Corner and theLAB to offer more education opportunities for area entrepreneurs.

In 2017, Pathway WBC delivered more than 8,000 hours of business education. But there’s more to be done. and our newest partnerships will allow us to reach more entrepreneurs across the Nashville area. We’ve already announced our partnership in downtown Lebanon, and are now proud to partner with Corner to Corner and theLAB!

Founded in 2011, Corner to Corner is a Christian nonprofit that exists to extend hope to every corner of our community. They do this by “attacking the cycle of despair often caused by high-rates of incarceration,” in a model called “Connect, Invest, Grow.” Their recently launched Business Entrepreneur Academy is a 10-week course similar to our Discover Cohort.

Pathway WBC and Corner to Corner host “CEO Roundtables” every quarter as a way to for graduates of both programs to stay connected, keep learning, network, and creatively tackle obstacles they face.

At our December CEO Roundtable, attendees came together for dinner, and then tackled an accounting case study (a hypothetical opportunity for a small t-shirt shop to become the official tour vendor for Beyonce)! Small groups debated expansion and pricing decisions, calculated expansion costs, and determined the best path for the case study subject to pursue.

At our March CEO Roundtable, attendees will be investigating social media marketing for their business, with a specific lab for using Facebook advertising and creating a content calendar. CEO Roundtables are invitation only for graduates of Corner to Corner and Pathway WBC.
