Two Short Videos About Using Mobile Payment Features Safely and the Pitfalls of Payday Loans
April is halfway over and we’ve been busy sharing financial education blog posts to encourage everyone to take control of the finances this year (check out our budgeting blog post here).
We’re continuing our celebration of Financial Literacy month with two more topics from our free online financial education courses: effectively using mobile payments and the dangers of payday loans.
Both topics are presented as short videos, so grab some earphones and start learning!

Mobile payment makes paying for goods and services super convenient (this Apple Pay and Android Pay) in place of a physical card, but be sure to read the fine print on any fees from the app or your account for using this service. You’ll want to check the transactions on your bank account just like you do with a physical card, and always have other forms of payment like cash or a credit card in case the system isn’t available.
